I’m a big fan of Hip Hop. Huge! I actually had a record out in the 90’s! So this assignment was special to me. Now, usually the team will send me some photos of their mascot for me to work from. What I received was a terrible, child-like drawing and some photographs of a unpainted, toy sculpt (I think…). So I pretty much followed that and some photographs of their championship ring (which I put on the chain). I got some photo’s of an actual cat and brought the design to life the best I could. Now, the poses wer some real life things that I encountered in the parks and shows I did. Super fun indeed!
