The Los Angeles Angels mascot – Rally Monkey – The Los Angeles Angel Rally Monkey is actually based on a capuchin monkey named Katie. This monkey appeared I a clip that was played to get fans hyped up from Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Now this guy didn’t’t have an actual costume to draw from. I was actually sent some drawings that the team had so I had a lot of creative freedom for this one. The design was nice and cartoony which I love so, this was right up my alley. I hope at some point the team gets really creative and has a costume made using the proportion of the drawings. Seeing him walk around the stadium would be awesome!
