This assignment was fairly recent and was based on my earlier work with the character. I really liked him carrying the team flag because it gave some variety in the posing of the character. This mascot design is another good one because he is based on an actual bluejay. Now this could have worked out very badly but whoever designed this character did a great job of capturing those features in a commercial way. I have to respect that. Makes him fun to draw!
