This guy was hilarious to draw! With the big shone, the pink fur, and the yellow spots, he had a really funny look. I think the big sneakers top the look off! This is another mascot that has that muppet-like look. Even Indians mascot coordinator Dan Kilday admits that the look was meant to mirror that Snuffleupagus category! It’s kind of up to the fans to decide what exactly Slider is. The mascot actually entered the publics Consciousness when in the 1995 ALCS the character fell off the outfield wall. Admittedly, this was a rough way to get national recognition but in showbiz even bad publicity can be great publicity! Nevertheless, this was a great mascot to draw!
